Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if Airbrush or Liquid is best for me?
Airbrush: Works best for someone looking for a full coverage look without added product. Airbrush makeup is a much finer product, thinner than a traditional foundation. It comes out as a spray, it closely mimics the way cameras see your face. There are many advantages to it, it is non transferable and waterproof works great for warmer climates and outside events allows for 24hr wear. You can achieve a light or full coverage look with airbrush. Will stay on until you take it off and works great if you have any skin discoloration or acne.
Liquid: Traditional Foundation is great, its the most natural looking and there is a lot of flexibility. Traditional foundation is more opaque, and has a richer coverage. Allows for more blend-ability and building of coverage. If there is any crying or sweating touch up is a breeze. Down fall is that it can transfer and may fade after a few hours like all makeup.
What is a trial?
A trial is usually a longer appointment than the one you will have the day of your event. It can be about 1.5 hours and it allows you the opportunity to try different looks you may have been thinking of. This is the perfect time to change things you may want differently so the day of will go smoothly.
What if I dont like my look after the trial?
If you have a trial and still are unsure if the look is for you, changes can always be made the day of or at a second trial. If you are unhappy with the look overall and wish to have another artist you can always do so. A trial is a way of seeing if you and the makeup artist are a good fit and that they can achieve the look you want. There is no obligation to sign a contract.
